How long does it take to heat a wood-fired bathtub?
It will take between 1.5 and 4 hours to heat up to the desired temperature (up to 45° Celsius), depending on the size of your hot tub. Heating time also depends on external conditions (wind, outside temperature), and we recommend using an insulating cover to heat up faster.
How long will my wood-burning hot tub stay hot?
You can expect the temperature to drop no more than 9-10 degrees Celsius daily. If you want it hot tomorrow, you can add a little more wood. It doesn’t take as long to heat up to the desired temperature as when you dry it completely and refill it (maybe an hour). The drier the wood you burn, the longer it will stay hot.
How do you keep the water clean in a wood-fired bathtub?
